Our team

Chris has over 25 years experience working within Children Services. He has worked in and managed childcare settings across the Early Years and Primary aged sectors and was a founder of the nationally recognised outdoor play programme, the “Free Range Project”. During his 20 years in local authority he held senior management roles in complimentary fields such as Child Protection, Practice Development and Family Engagement and was the GIRFEC Co-ordinator in Fife for 3 years. He’s passionate about the importance of children spending time outside and the benefits it offerers for health and wellbeing.  His vision has always been to create a play space that challenges and enhances children’s natural curiosity for learning and use the natural environment as the teacher.
